Brow Lift
A brow lift or forehead lift performed by Dr. Arnold Breitbart can raise sagging skin on the forehead while reducing wrinkles to restore a more relaxed and youthful appearance.

Brow Lift Procedure
Depending on the patient’s goals, brow lift surgery may be carried out using either the open technique or the endoscopic method. It is important to discuss these options with Dr. Breitbart to determine which procedure is best suited for you. During endoscopic brow lift surgery, Dr. Breitbart makes three to five short incisions across the scalp. A tiny camera is then inserted through these incisions along with small instruments that Dr. Breitbart uses to tighten the tissues. In open brow lift surgery on the other hand, one long incision is made across the scalp and the skin is lifted to tighten the tissues. The incisions can typically be hidden behind the hairline where they will not be visible after surgery.
Recovery From Brow Lift
Sutures are usually removed within five to seven days. Patients can return to work after sutures are removed, but should avoid strenuous activity and exercise for at least three weeks.
Brow Lift FAQs
Results are immediately visible but you should allow adequate time for healing. Full results are evident within a few months.
A brow lift can reduce the creases that develop across the forehead and along the bridge of the nose between the eyes. Brow lifts improve frown lines, while repositioning sagging brows to create a more youthful and alert appearance. When brow lift surgery is combined with other facial rejuvenation procedures such as eyelid surgery, facelifts or skin resurfacing techniques, the results can be dramatic and very pleasing to the eye.
